CAMILA CAVALCANTE

The initial motivation to develop the concept of 'Eternecer' - a project in partnership with Karla Melanias -  was a personal investigation based on the search and interpretation of memory. It was the most visited exhibition of 2011 in the gallery Pinacoteca Universitária, Maceió, Brazil, and it was shown at Galeria Sesc and Museu Zezito Guedes, Arapiraca, Brazil, in 2012. All the photos for this project were taken on film and I created the unique black and white portraits manually with darkroom processes. These portraits were also published in White Coffee Magazine, UK, in March, 2014.
